175km Kremetart



THE KREMETART ONE DAY STAGE RACE - (175km in 4 stages)

  • Meals and refreshments are provided to all participants between stages.
  • Medical emergency backup will be stationed at all stage finishes.
  • During Stage 1 medical emergency personnel will also be stationed between the two tunnels.
  • Entry Fee: R300.
  • Timing by Championchip.

Friday 4 June 2010
  • Registration at Makhado Crossing (Opposite Tourism Info Centre) in Louis Trichardt / Makhado) - 11h00 to 22h00.
Saturday 5 June 2010
  • Final registration at the Info Kiosk (no changes, no seeding!) - 4h30 to 6h30.
  • Start of Stage 1 to Waterpoort (53 Km.) - 7h00.
  • Breakfast, snacks, refreshments served at Waterpoort.
  • Start of Stage 2 to Vivo (48 Km.) - 10h00.
  • Lunch at Vivo.
  • Start of Stage 3 to Schoemansdal (52 Km.) - 12h45.
  • Refreshments and snacks at school.
  • Start of Stage 4 to Finish in Louis Tricahardt / Makhado (22 Km.) - 15h45.
  • Cut off times for stages 1 to 3: 10 minutes before start of next stage.
  • Cut off time for stage 4: 17h30.
  • Prize giving at Tourism Info Kiosk at 19h00.
  • Party Time!

Support Vehicles
Support vehicles will be strictly regulated.

TAKE NOTE :

No Support vehicles will be allowed between cyclists. 
Support vehicles will leave 15 min before the start of each stage. Road will be sweeped by Traffic Police.
Support vehicles that haven't departed before the agreed time will have to fall in behind the last cyclist.

Supporters bus
Supporters buses will be available to get supporters to the finish of each stage before the winners arrive. Bus fee of R350 (Luxury) includes meals and refreshments between stages as well as evening "potjie".
Buses will leave strictly 5 minutes before starts.


Baggage Van
A baggage van will follow the race.

Category Starts
The start times above are for the Tandems. The groups will start in the following order:
  1. Tandems at advertised time.
  2. Junior and Senior men at + 3 minutes.
  3. Sub- Veteran men at + 7 minutes.
  4. Women at + 12 minutes.
  5. Veteran men at + 16 minutes.
  6. Master and Gr. Master men at + 20 minutes.
  7. Comrades at + 23 minutes.
