Kremetart Road Closures 2011

·         175km Stage 1 start at 07:00am on N1 between Songozwi and Stubb Street

·         N1 between Songozwi and and Stubb(Circle) will be closed from 05:30 to 7:45

·         Section between Grobler and N1 in Songozwi Street (2 lanes closed from 05:00), then all lanes will be closed from 06:30 – 07:45

·         Entrance at Info Kiosk(Songozwi) Open from 05:00 – 06:30 for cyclist parking.

·         Re-routed traffic in Hlanganani Street by Traffic Police and SAPS

·         70km start at 10:00am on N1 between Songozwi and Stubb Street

·         175km, 70km, 12km  will finish on N1 between Rissik and Songozwi Street

·         N1 between Rissik and Songozwi will be closed from 12:00 - 18:00

·         Re-routed traffic into Elti Villas by Traffic Police and SAPS

·         Rissik Street will be closed from 10:00 – 18:00

·         Vehicles from/to Vivo will be re-routed through Jeppe Street by Traffic Police and Town Watch

·         Intersections open at Rissik will be Cilliers, Krogh, Kruger and Grobler Streets controlled by SAPS, Traffic Police and Town Watch

TAKE NOTE :

·         Supporter vehicles will leave 15 before start of each stage

·         Traffic police sweep road – no support vehicles allowed on the road while cyclist are on the road.

·         Traffic police and SAPS will be at the back of group 7(last group) and will not allow any vehicles to pass until the last cyclist reach the next stage

·         All supporter vehicles will drive at the back of Traffic police if they did not leave 15min before the start.

·         No vehicles will be allowed in-between cyclists – only the registered team vehicles will be allowed under very strict International Cycling rules, we have the list of this vehicles.

·         Race will finish at 18:00 – all roads open again
