The Powerade Kremetart One Day Cycling Stage Race is only 8 weeks away and the

excitement and cycling spirit in and around Louis Trichardt is building up!!!!

What is NEW……

Every year there is something new or something to upgrade our event. This year we have the bigger and better Kremetart

Mountain Bike Event on the Sunday (June 5, 2011). You will experience the most  beautiful scenery in the Soutpansberg

Mountains. There will be a 10, 20, 30, 40 – a race for every cyclist road or mountain biker. You can also enter for this race online.

The 22km Fun Ride has also changed to a more “FUN” filled 12km with no mountains – the safest fun ride you will

ever experience. The route is flat and a must for kids and those who have a bicycle, never rides it, and just want to experience the vibe

of the Kremetart event.

The Kremetart weekend :

Friday :      Kiddies Race (Not to be missed)

Saturday :  Powerade Kremetart Stage Race

                  70 km Route 

                  12 km Fun Ride

                  Big Bosveld  Party(Live entertainment, Famous Potjie)

Sunday : Coal of Africa Kremetart Mountain Bike 10, 20, 30, 40km (Try this out, you won’t be disappointed)

So you pay R 350.00 for the stage race  - what do you get??? Much more you possibly could have dream of :

  The BIGGEST goody-bag you will ever receive at a cycling race (with products you can actually use);

  Breakfast at stage1, Lunch at Stage 2, Snack pack at Stage 3 and Potjie at Stage 4 – are you still hungry???;

A tog bag vehicle will once again be available and the supporters bus is highly recommended

for supporters en route. Join the Kremetart vibe in the supporters bus as the bus will stop

at every stage and en route.

Newsletter 27/05/2010   It’s the final countdown…..10 days to go……

Dear cyclist,

Online entries close Monday 31/05/2010, this means only 5 days left to enter online.

Remember ONLY online entries will receive our HUGE GOODY-BAG.

If you enter after 31/05/2010 you will not only lose out on our goody-bag but you will also pay a late entry penalty fee of R 30.00

Supporter vehicles (175 km) :

Due to our road/lane closure status supporter vehicles will this year be extra strictly regulated as safety for all cyclists are always top priority.

VERY IMPORTANT  - All supporter vehicles will have up to 15 minutes before the start of each stage to drive to the end of that stage. Traffic  police will sweep the road for

any vehicles still on the road – NO VEHICLES WILL BE ALLOWED BETWEEN CYCLISTS.

This year CSA Officials will take the vehicle as well as the cyclist out of the race if you are noticed on the road between cyclists – no tolerance.

Please help us to make the Kremetart again one of the safest races.

Take note : Route for parking on Saturday June 5, 2010 differs from previous years.

Teams support vehicles :

Team support vehicles should register on or before Friday June 4, 2010 and team managers should attend the compulsory race briefing Friday June 4, 2010, 19:00 at the Info Kiosk(opposite Makhado Crossing).

Kremetart Mountain Bike(NEW*)  -

This year we have the Kremetart Mountain Bike Event (NEW*) on the Sunday (June 6, 2010). You will experience the most  beautiful scenery in the Soutpansberg

Tog bag vehicle –

There will be a baggage van on the 175 km stage race. We will transport your bag between stages – it’s very safe and secure.

All bags should be collected by 19:00 Saturday evening at the Info Kiosk. If not, we will have nice lucky draw prices at our prize giving.

Dear cyclist, 

Only 4 days left for the annual Powerade Kremetart One Day Cycling Stage Race !

Online entries for the event are now CLOSED BUT line entries are still open until Friday June 5^th 2009.

There will be no permits for supporter vehicles this year.

Safety of cyclists is always top priority for the organizers therefore we encourage supporters

to make use of supporter buses. This will reduce the number of vehicles on the road as well as between cyclists.

By making use of the bus transport you will help to keep the race as safe as possible for all cyclists.

Supporter vehicles will be strictly regulated and the organizers will have zero tolerance for vehicles

causing problems en route.

Supporter vehicles causing problems en route will lead to the removal of the vehicle by traffic officials and the cyclist of the particular supporter vehicle will also be disqualified.

Registration will take place form Friday June 5^th 2009 form 11:00 am until 22:00 pm at the Makhado Crossing and Saturday June 6^th 2009 from 05:00 am at the Info Kiosk.
